Dr. Mark J Pitcher
DC, MSc
Dr. Mark Pitcher DC, MSc is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic who graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He also holds a Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Newfoundland. In addition to 11 years of experience in chiropractic practice, Dr. Pitcher has learned from some of the best in rehabilitative medicine, including renowned biomechanist Stuart McGill, anatomist and clinician Andry Vleeming and physical therapist Diane Lee.
Dr. Pitcher has been a college and university lecturer teaching courses in joint mechanics, human factors, occupational ergonomics and sports biomechanics. He has been an invited lecturer for government agencies, and at the local and national levels. He has published a number of professional articles and recently published two scientific articles in the “Journal of Sports Science and Medicine” and in the journal “Applied Physiology Nutrition and Metabolism”.
Dr. Pitcher has been the chiropractor for athletic events such as the Honda Sessions, Gravity Games and the Mountain Dew Action Sports Tour.
